BIOGRAPHY Aleksandar Cotric, was born in 1966. in Loznica, Western Serbia. He published aphorisms: We will give you democracy (1993), The fifth column (1997), Forbidden thoughts (2000), Short cuts (2004), Aphorisms (2007) and Chosen aphorisms, on Macedonian (2007), Short cuts, on Romanian (2007), Naked truth (2008). He published stories: Marked stories (2006), and Stories before waking up (2007) and anecdotes Vuk spoke in such a way (2007. He is coo-author of the books: Memory of Draza (1995) and Collected in spreading (2002). He can be found in many domestic and foreign (Germany, Bulgaria, Austria, BiH, Macedonia, Russia and the USA) anthologies and collections of satire. His work was translated in many foreign languages: English, Polish, German, French, Slovenian, Hungarian, Romanian, Spanish, Macedonian, Russian, Albanian, Slovakian, Czech, Ruthenian and Bulgarian.
For his literary work he got prizes and awards: Radoje Domanovic (1993 and 2004), Zivojin Pavlovic Zikison (1993), Golden helmet (1994 and 2009), Dragisa Kasikovic (1995), Brothers Ormai (2003), Vladimir Bulatovic Vib (2003), Jovan Hadzi-Kostic (2006), Milivoje Ilic (2006, 2007 and 2008), Stevan Sremac (2007,2008), Knight of Carapania-Ser Hardy (2007), Festival Golden helmet, Krusevac, on the Festival Civijada in Sabac (2007), on the Festival of humor and satire in Danilovgrad, Montenegro (2007), and Prize on the Festival of humor and satire Golden apple in Bistrica, Romania (2007). He is a member of Belgrade aphoristic circle and member of the Association of writers of Serbia. He lives and works in Belgrade. |
